Well the weekend was good. Monday went by fast, thus I am happy now. I just arrived back from karate. I have my belt test this Friday so I'm excited. I've been working out the kinks in my 4th combo and I really enjoy what it turned out to be.
I've been watching the webisodes for the new sci-fi show Sanctuary. There are eight, 18 minute webisodes which together make up the pilot. The show does not actually premier until October 3rd. It has some outstanding actors and actresses. David Hewlett made an appearence in the first webisode, and Amanda Tapping is one of the lead characters.

Synopsis:
"Sanctuary's story takes place in a world that is different from our own, yet feels familiar. In Sanctuary, monsters move secretly throughout the world, both threatening and threatened, while one woman and her team search them out.

Sanctuary follows the adventures of Dr. Helen Magnus, a 157-year old physician who studies monsters. She is aided in her work by her reluctant protégé, forensic psychiatrist Will Zimmerman, and her fearless daughter Ashley. Together they seek to find and help the strange and often frightening creatures that populate their world.

Dr. Magnus is on a mission to unlock the secrets behind human evolution using a unique combination of science, medicine and her own knowledge of the supernatural. Magnus and her daughter Ashley operate an underground sanctuary and scientific laboratory that houses the monsters and creatures they capture and study.

Born into a world where monsters are accepted and live in her home, Ashley is both brave and brash, with little patience for her mother's scientific laboratory that houses the monster and creatures they capture and study.

While working as a forensic profiler for Federal authorities, Will quickly demonstrated a talent for seeing reality as others can't - which is just as quickly saw his fall from grace from the Bureau and attracted the attention of Dr. Magnus. Magnus approaches Will with a proposal to join her team, a proposal he realizes he can't refuse.

Together, they explore the odd the terrifying and the impossible in a bid to understand our ultimate destiny as a species.

Sanctuary is a live-action sci-fi production shot almost entirely against a green screen with highly detailed computer generated (CG) sets and backdrops, using the latest in digital camera technology.

The combination of live-action footage and computer-generated sets give Sanctuary a unique look and feel that is fast gaining popularity. It enables the audience to experience a fantastic world the likes which they have never before seen."
